Why our Chocolate Matters

Supporting Cacao Farmers and Origins

Every bar we carry is a vote for a better chocolate industry.
  • Farmers are paid fairly for their beans.
  • Cacao is fermented and dried at origin, preserving unique flavor profiles.
  • Makers practice direct trade — building lasting relationships with growers.
This means your purchase supports not only ethical sourcing, but also cultural preservationenvironmental care, and better livelihoods.

Sourced with Care. Shared with Joy.

Our love for craft chocolate began with Filipino-style Tsokolate, made from tableya, a pure, unrefined cacao shaped into a small disk. Over time, we discovered the beauty of single-origin bars from around the world, and we saw how each one reflected its place of origin, just like coffee or wine.
Now, Crafted Cacao Co celebrates those same roots and flavors through our shop, tastings, and events — connecting people to the real stories behind chocolate.

Our Promise

  • 100% ethically sourced cacao
  • Transparent, small-batch makers
  • No additives or exploitation — ever
  • Shared with care, connection, and joy

Meet Sarah
The heart behind Crafted Cacao Co

Sarah’s chocolate journey began with a simple craving: the comforting, rich drinking Tsokolate she grew up with in the Philippines. When she realized how hard it was to find good drinking chocolate it in the US, she did what any curious (and slightly stubborn) chocolate lover might do—she set out to make her own from scratch.
That search led her to an intensive bean-to-bar course with Ecole Chocolat, where she discovered not only the beautiful art of real chocolate making, but also the reality of how challenging the cacao industry can be for farmers. Long hours, little pay, and unsafe working conditions opened her eyes to just how important ethical sourcing truly is.
With this new understanding came a deeper appreciation for craft chocolate—and the spark that became Crafted Cacao Co.
Sarah believes everyone deserves chocolate that tastes extraordinary, celebrates the cacao’s natural flavors, and brings joy at every step of its journey: from farmer, to maker, to you.
Every creation is a little love letter to joy, fairness, and real, vibrant flavor. She hopes each bite encourages you to savor more intentionally and choose chocolate that does good, not just tastes good.
